BUBA GALADIMA URGES ATIKU TO JOIN NDC TO STRENGTHEN OPPOSITION AHEAD OF 2027

A chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, BUBA GALADIMA, has called on former Vice-President ATIKU ABUBAKAR to join the party as part of efforts to build a stronger and more united opposition ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking during an interview, GALADIMAsaid several key opposition figures are already aligning under the NDC to form a formidable political force against the ruling All Progressives Congress.

He expressed concerns that the current administration could deploy legal strategies to weaken opposition movements, emphasizing the urgency for opposition leaders to consolidate under a single platform.

GALADIMA further warned that if ATIKUchooses not to join the NDC, he could be blamed for any failure to achieve opposition unity ahead of the elections, noting that the final decision ultimately lies with the former vice president.
