In a similar development, the National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), RAUF AREGBESOLA, has criticized the administration of BOLA TINUBU, describing its Renewed Hope Agenda as ineffective.
Speaking at the ADC National Convention in Abuja, AREGBESOLA called on the president to resign, citing concerns over insecurity and economic hardship in the country.
He accused the All Progressives Congress(APC)-led government of mismanaging the economy and failing to fulfil key policy promises, stressing that the naira has depreciated significantly since 2023, fuel prices have increased, security situation has worsened, while electricity supply has dropped, thereby placing additional pressure on citizens.
On his part, Former Rivers State governor and ex-Minister of Transportation, ROTIMI AMAECHI, raised fresh concerns over Nigeria’s rising insecurity, faulting what he described as the Federal Government’s “distant response” to insecurity, and maintained that leaders must take responsibility.
Meanwhile, Former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, PETER OBI, warned that the country is “heading to disaster, following Nigeria’s rising debt profile, stressing the need for national unity, as divisions across the country continue to wreak havoc.
