VICE PRESIDENT SHETTIMA RETURNS TO NIGERIA AFTER 81ST SESSION OF THE U.N GENERAL ASSEMBLY.

Nigeria’s Vice President , KASHIM SHETTIMA, has returned  to Nigeria, after representing President BOLA TINUBU at the 81st Session of the United Nations (U.N) General Assembly in New York.

During the visit,  SHETTIMA  delivered President TINUBU’s speech at the General Debate, which called for the reformation of the U.N security council,  demanding transparency,  full involvement of Africa representation, stronger climate support and deeper multilateral cooperation.

The vice president also participated in the Third High-Level Roundtable of the Africa Minerals Strategy Group, and had a meeting with the new leadership of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), as well as U.N Deputy Secretary-General AMINA MOHAMMED.
