ARSENAL SIGN  TWO MANCHESTER UNITED YOUNGSTERS TO STRENGTHEN ACADEMY

Arsenal have secured the services of JAMES SCANLON  and HABEEB OGUNNEYE  from Manchester United as the Gunners continue to expand their academy and provide a route for promising youngsters into the first team.

SCANLON, a 19-year-old winger who plays internationally for Gibraltar, completed his move on Saturday, with 20-year-old right-back OGUNNEYE following the next day. 

SCANLON said Arsenal’s positive development and ambition attracted him to the club, while OGUNNEYE pointed to the Gunner’s history of developing young footballers as a major factor behind his decision. 

Both players are expected to continue their development as they target opportunities with the senior squad.
