ENUGU SET TO HOST INTERNATIONAL MARATHON AUGUST 28, 2026

Enugu is set to host the Enugu City International Marathon on Saturday, August 28, 2026, as the Coal City prepares to welcome athletes for a major international road race.

The event is expected to transform the city’s streets, neighbourhoods and landmarks into a hub of sporting and cultural activities, while also creating opportunities for business and tourism.

Organisers said key arrangements, including the race route, medical services, security, logistics and timing systems, have been finalised to ensure a smooth and successful marathon.
