NFF APPOINTS EMMANUEL IKPEME INTERIM GENERAL SECRETARY

EMMANUEL IKPEME, has been appointed as the  Acting General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) following the resignation of a key official of the National football team yesterday.

According to the NFF statement, IKPEME will oversee the federation secretariat on the interim basis from August 28, 2026, after the former General Secretary, MOHAMMED SANUSI resigned amid a major leadership crisis at the football governing body.

Similarly, ADEMOLA OLAJIRE , who previously served as the NFF’s Director of Media and Communications, was    appointed interim Deputy General Secretary to help coordinate the affairs for the time being.
