IWOBI OPENS UP ON CHALLENGESOF PLAYING FOR NIGERIA 

Super Eagles midfielder ALEX IWOBI has opened up about his experiences with the Nigerian national team and highlighted some of the challenges the players encounter.

In an interview that has gained widespread attention on the social media, the Fulham midfielder said his commitment to Nigeria has remained unwavering, even though duty sometimes comes with personal financial and logistical difficulties.

IWOBI also recounted experiencing difficult accommodation and training conditions during some national team assignments, adding that mistakes made during training sessions were often met with stern reactions from members of the coaching staff.

Despite the challenges, the former Arsenal midfielder said representing Nigeria remains a source of pride and belonging, citing the cultural connection he enjoys in the national team camp, especially through Nigerian cuisine.
