Anambra State Governor CHARLES SOLUDO has stated that his administration has not obtained any loans since he assumed office, stressing that prudent management of available resources can deliver development without accumulating debt.

SOLUDO made the statement while speaking at the Delta State Economic and Investment Summit, where he also expressed confidence in Nigeria’s economic prospects.

The former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, said the nation’s economy has stabilised and is gradually recovering, maintaining that state governments can achieve meaningful development through disciplined financial management instead of relying on excessive borrowing.

He also reaffirmed his long-standing support for local industries, noting that increased patronage of made-in-Nigeria products would boost production, generate employment opportunities and strengthen the country’s economy.
