Manchester City F.C. missed the chance to significantly cut the gap on Arsenal F.C. in the Premier League title race after being held to an entertaining 3–3 draw by Everton F.C last night.

PEP GUARDIOLA’S side entered the match trailing the league leaders by six points and looked set for victory when JÉRÉMY DOKUput them ahead with a fine curling effort before halftime.

However, Everton produced a spirited second-half comeback, scoring three goals through THIERNO BARRY, who netted twice, and Jake O’Neil netted one

City responded through ERLING HAALANDand DOKU, ensuring they salvaged a point from the high-scoring encounter.

The result leaves Manchester City five points behind Arsenal in the standings as Guardiola’s men now turn their attention to a crucial fixture against Brentford F.C, while Arsenal are set to face West Ham United F.C.
