ATIKU SLAMS  TINUBU OVER  PRESIDENTIAL PARDON REVERSAL

The 2023 People’s Democratic Party  (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has berated President Bola Tinubu’s administration over the reversal of the presidential pardon list, describing the move as an act of shame.

In a statement signed by his aide, Phrank Shaibu, Atiku accused the administration of lacking foresight and moral consistency following Tinubu’s decision to revoke the earlier pardon granted to .Maryann and several other convicts.

Atiku described the pardon saga as a national embarrassment, adding that the presidency’s frequent policy reversals showed that Nigeria was being governed without foresight, without empathy, and without shame.

He also questioned the process that led to the initial inclusion of many convicts on the list and demanded transparency from the presidency.
