THOUSANDS HONOR GIORGIO ARMANI AS FASHION TITAN IS LAID TO REST AT 91

Italian fashion icon, Giorgio Armani, who diedat the of age 91, will be buried today in a private family ceremony.

Armani, who died on Thursday, September 4th, will be buried in the medieval village of Rivalta south of Milan.

Over the weekend, thousands paid their last respect as they walked past his coffin, which was placed beside the headquarters of his multi-billion-euro lifestyle empire in Milan.

Beyond clothing, Armani built one of the most successful luxury empires in the world, including accessories, fragrances, cosmetics, interior designs, sports sponsorships, and a chain of exclusive hotels.
