PATIENCE JONATHAN RULES OUT PLAN TO RETURN TO PRESIDENTIAL VILLA.

Former First Lady, Patience Jonathan, has ruled out the possibility of returning to the Presidential Villa, stressing that she would not return to the seat of power due to the difficult situation Nigeria is currently facing.

While questioning the reason anyone would want to return to the presidential villa, Patience said Nigeria was in so much distress that anyone whom God delivered from it should give Him glory, adding that she needed peace and her peace was enough.

Her remarks comes as pressure mounts on her husband and former President, Goodluck Jonathan to contest in the 2027 presidential election under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Meanwhile, President Bola Tinubu’s media aide, Bayo Onanuga recently warned Goodluck Jonathan not to heed calls for him to contest again, reminding him of his defeat in the 2015 election.
