FLYING EAGLES COACH NAMES 35 PLAYERS FOR FINAL TRAINING AHEAD OF U-20 AFCON

Flying Eagles head coach ALIYU ZUBAIRUhas named a 35-man squad for the team’s final training camp ahead of the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

The core of the squad comprises players who featured in Nigeria’s victorious campaign at the WAFU B U-20 Championship held in Togo last year, and the include;  DANIEL BAMEIYI, EBENEZER HARCOURT, ADAMU MAIGARI, KENNETH IGBOKWE, and SABIU MOHAMMED.

Also included are SULAIMAN ALABI ‘JOJO’, NASIRU SALIHU, OLISEH DIVINE, BIDEMI AMOLE, and CLINTON JEPHTA.

The Flying Eagles have been drawn in Group B of the U-20 AFCON, alongside Egypt, Morocco, and South Africa.

The tournament is scheduled to commence in Cairo, Egypt, on 27 April.
