RIVERS SOLE ADMINISTRATOR SUSPENDS ALL POLITICAL APPOINTEES

The Sole Administrator of Rivers State, retired Vice Admiral, IBOK-ETE IBAS, has suspended all political office holders and appointees across the state.

The Chief of Staff to the Sole Administrator disclosed this in a statement yesterday, saying the suspension which takes effect immediately, is in line with the powers conferred upon him by President BOLA TINUBU.

Those suspended include the Secretary to the State Government, the Chief of Staff, commissioners, chairmen and members of all boards, and all special assistants.

He also directed the affected officers to hand over to the Permanent Secretaries in their ministries, departments and agencies, MDA’s, or to most senior Director/Head of Administration.
