FIRE GUTS A SECTION OF LATE ALEX EKWUEME’S RESIDENCE IN ENUGU

Fire has gutted a section of a building in Enugu state, belonging to a former Vice-President, late ALEX EKWUEME.

An eye witness, OMEGA DAVIDSON, who spoke to Urban radio correspondent, CHRIS FRANK, said the fire which occurred yesterday, started at about 5:15pm but added that the cause of the fire incident remained unknown,

He also revealed that there was prompt response from the Enugu state Fire Service, who according to him, arrived around 5:30pm to put out the fire.

As of the time of this report, authorities are yet to respond.
