SLOT ACHIEVES CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MILESTONE AFTER LILLE WIN

Liverpool Manager, ARNE SLOT has achieved an important UEFA Champions League milestone after guiding the Reds to a 2-1 win against Lille at Anfield yesterday.

Goals from MOHAMED SALAH and HARVEY ELLIOT secured a 2-1 win for Liverpool who  sit comfortably in top spot on 21 points in the 36-team league table after seven games played.

Following the win, SLOT is only the second manager in UEFA Champions League history to win each of his first seven games in charge of a club.

He equals current Barcelona coach, HANSI FLICK who achieved the feat with Bayern Munich.
