LOOKMAN WINS CAF PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD

It was all win for Nigeria last night as  Super Eagles winger, ADEMOLA LOOKMAN, scooped the CAF Footballer of the Year for at Marrakech, Morocco.

LOOKMAN was announced as the winner at an elaborate event, beating off competitions from Ivory Coast’s SIMON ADINGRA and PSG’s ACHRAF HAKIMI, Guinea striker SERHOU GUIRASSY and South Africa goalkeeper RONWEN WILLIAMS, to take home the award.

Similarly, Super Falcons star,  CHIAMAKA NNADOZIE has won the Goalkeeper of the Year at the CAF Awards 2024, winning it for the second successive year after her last year victory.

The Paris FC of France goalkeeper beat competitions from fellow goalkeepers, SANAA MSSOUDY of Morocco and BABRA BANDAof Zambia.

Nigeria’s Super Falcons have also won the National Team of the Year at 2024 CAF Awards, beating the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco and Banyana Banyana of South Africa to the award.
