PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINT EIGHT NEW PERMANENT SECRETARIES FOR CIVIL SERVICE

President BOLA TINUBU has approved the appointment of eight permanent secretaries in the Federal Civil Service to fill existing and impending vacancies in some states and geopolitical zones.

A statement by the president’s media aide, BAYO ONANUGA, listed the appointees as ONWUSORO IHEMELANDU (Abia State), NDIOMU PHILIP (Bayelsa State), ANUMA OGBONNAYA NLIA (Ebonyi State),OGBODO NNAM (Enugu State), KALBA USMAN (Gombe State), USMAN AMINU (Kebbi State), OYEKUNLE NWAKUSO (Rivers State) and NADUNGU GAGARE (Kaduna State).

The statement noted that it was the second set of eight permanent secretaries appointed by the president, following those appointed last June from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Jigawa, Ondo, Zamfara, South East and South-South.

ONANUGA explained that the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation recommended that the new permanent secretaries be appointed after diligent selection.

He added that the new permanent secretaries have been urged by the president to demonstrate greater commitment, diligence, and innovation in serving the nation.
