SEUN KUTI FAULTS PRESIDENT TINUBU’S DECISION ON FUEL SUBSIDY REMOVAL

Popular musician and activist, SEUN KUTI has faulted President BOLA TINUBU’S decision to remove the fuel subsidy, describing it as a ‘wicked decision’ that undermines the welfare of Nigerians.

 The singer during his recent Instagram live session, addressed the issue stressing that the Nigerian government has overtime proven they do not care about the welfare of the citizens.

 KUTI drew a comparison between government officials’ spending on luxury items for themselves and the lack of investment in education and infrastructure, questioning the priorities of the government.

He also criticized the government’s reliance on public-private partnerships for essential services for the people, which he said only come into play when it involves community investment.
