NOLLYWOOD ACTRESS DIES AFTER GIVING BIRTH

Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Sharon Okpamen, has reportedly passed away.

The actress’ demise was announced by a colleague and movie producer, Stanley Ontop, in a post on his Instagram account, stating that Nollywood and the Edo entertainment industry has lost an actress and a humanitarian.

Though Stanley did not specifically reveal the cause of death or when the actress passed on, a message posted by Edo Online Television on July 31, 2024, revealed that the actress welcomed a new baby with her husband.

 Additionally, the actress did not post on her socials about the arrival of the new baby, giving rise to suspicion that she may have had complications after childbirth, with multiple reports suggesting she had slipped into coma after child delivery and never made it out alive.
