ELEVEN PASSENGERS INCLUDING TWO BABIES KILLED IN AN AUTO CRASH IN ABIA STATE

Eleven passengers including two babes, have died in a tragic accident involving a commercial bus belonging to Abia Line Transport Company Limited.

The incident occurred yesterday at about 12:45 pm, near the Umuika Junction along the Enugu-Aba-Port Harcourt expressway.

 An eyewitness, who identified himself as Ochiegbu, told newsmen that the driver of the Sienna bus lost control after falling asleep and hit a truck before crashing into the bush, resulting in the deaths of the passengers.

Footage showed sympathisers weeping profusely while other persons tried to evacuate the victims from the road.
