PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS GOVERNING COUNCILS FOR FEDERAL VARSITIES

President BOLA TINUBU has appointed heads of governing councils of selected federal universities and tertiary institutions of learning.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, AJURI NGELALE, who disclosed this in a statement, revealed that the new members of the governing boards of these institutions are expected to perform their functions effectively and creditably and within the ambits of their statutory responsibilities.

Some of the chairmen and members of the governing councils appointed by the president include; TEMI HARRIMAN as the Chairman of Nigerian Maritime University, OKERENKOKO, Delta State, with ADEOLA ADEOGUN, BENEDICT AGUELE, FREEMAN KASA and BABANGIDA ABDULLAHI, to serve as members of governing council.

Nigerian University of Science and Technology, Abuja, has RABE MUDI BALA as Chairman while AKINOLA FAGBEMI, RAKIATOU BAGNOU, ALWEL EGWURUGU and FEMI OSABINU will serve as members.
