YORUBA LAND DECLARES TODAY WORK-FREE DAY.

The governors of Lagos State and Oyo State Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Seyi Makinde have declared today a work-free day for all public servants in their states to commemorate the year 2023 Isese Day.

 

The Isese Day has been set aside in the two states to celebrate the indigenous Yoruba culture and traditions as well as the preservation of the Yoruba heritage.

 

This year’s Isese Day celebration was held yesterday and Sanwo-Olu reaffirmed his commitment to continue to provide the necessary support to traditional institutions in the State to promote the indigenous culture and tradition while preserving the Yoruba heritage.

 

Osun and Ogun state have also declared a work-free day for the festivities.
