PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS CONSUMER CREDIT CORPORATION BOARD.

President BOLA TINUBU has agreed to the appointment of UZOMA NWAGBA as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Consumer Credit CorporationCREDICORP to further expedite the process of expanding consumer credit access to Nigerians. Other key appointments made yesterday include ADEREMI ABDUL who is to serve as Board Chairman independent non-executive director; AISHA ABDULLAHI, Executive Director of credit, Risk, and Portfolio; and OLANIKE KOLAWOLE, Executive Director of operations. The Central Bank of Nigeria CBN has issued a warning to Deposit Money Banks DMBs and authorized forex dealers, advising them against rejecting old and lower dollar denominations from customers in the country following several complaints from customers after it conducted consumer market intelligence.
