The United States, US Mission in Nigeria has asked visa applicants to provide full disclosure of their social media history when completing the DS-160 visa application form.

The Mission, in a tweet released yesterday on its official X handle, emphasized that applicants must include all social media usernames or handles used on any platform within the last five years.

The U.S Mission said applicants must certify that the information filled in their visa application form is true and correct before submission.

It also warned that omission of such information could put future travel plans to the US at risk, adding that incomplete or misleading entries would not be overlooked.
