TRUMP CONFIRMS U.S. STRIKE ON VENEZUELAN VESSEL, KILLING 11 ALLEGED TERRORISTS LINKED TO MADURO.

The United States President, Donald Trump has announced that its military carried out a strike, killing 11 people on a Venezuelan vessel allegedly transporting illcit drugs.

Trump revealed this yesterday, affirming thatthe strike led to the killing of 11 terrorists, adding that no U.S. forces were injured in the operation, thus marking the first reported operation since his administration deployed warships to the southern Caribbean.

He further noted that the U.S. military had identified the crew as members of the Venezuelan gang named, Tren de Aragua, which was labeled a terrorist organization by the U.S. in February. 

Trump also reiterated claims that the group is under the control of Venezuela’s President, Nicolas Maduro, allegations which the south American nation had vehemently denied.
