DAVIDO LAUDS AKWA IBOM FOR WORLD-CLASS FACILITIES

Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore and Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor, have been released from Kuje Prison after spending four days in detention.
Sowore announced his release on his X page, stating that he had been detained last week following his appearance at the Kuje Magistrate Court.
A Magistrate Court sitting in Kuje, Abuja, had earlier granted bail to the human rights activist sowore, Ejimakor, Prince Kanu Nnamdi Kanu’s brother, and ten others arrested during the FREE NNAMDI KANU NOW protest in the Federal Capital Territory.
The court, presided over by Magistrate Abubakar Sai’id, issued the bail after the defendants were arraigned on charges of unlawful assembly and disturbance of public peace.
The Judge granted each defendant 500,000 naira bail with two federal capital Territory (FCT )sureties, valid identification, a three-year tax clearance, and submission of international passports.
