PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS GOVERNING COUNCIL FOR FEDERAL UNIVERSITY IN OGONILAND

President BOLA TINUBU has appointed a new Pro-Chancellor, governing council members, and principal officers of the Federal University of Environment and Technology, Koroma/Saakpenwa, Ogoni in Rivers State.

The appointment, contained in a statement issued yesterday by his  media aide, BAYO ONANUGA, revealed that while Prof. DON MON BARIDAM, from the South-South, will serve as the pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Prof. CHINEDU MMOM, also from the same geo-political zone is to serve as the vice-Chancellor.

The appointed Governing Council, comprised a diverse team, with members from different regions of the country, including; EMMANUEL ONOJA from North Central, HAMID ADEKUNLE from South West, Prof. CHIMA OJI from South East and ABDULLAHI LAMDA from North West.

Also a team of professionals was appointed to play key roles at the university, and they are; MPIGI DOUGLAS from the SOUTH SOUTH, to become the Registrar, ZORYII NWAIMANIE from the North Central will take on the role of Bursar, and SAGHANEN NTOGO from the South South will be the Librarian.
