The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has cried out over his worsening health condition under the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).
Kanu, in a complaint and appeal letter to the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), stated that he is dealing with tinnitus and sleep deprivation, which have worsened his hypertension and exposed him to the risk of stroke, collapse, or sudden death.
He also disclosed additional health complications affecting his liver, pancreas, kidneys, bladder, prostate, and white matter disease which have intensified his chest pains, heightened his risk of fainting, and increased his psychological strain.
The IPOB leader also accused the DSS doctor, Nasiru Mohammed, of falsifying his medical records despite his continued symptoms.
