HOME EAGLES TO DEPART FOR ZANZIBAR FOR 2024 AFRICAN NATIONS CHAMPIONSHIP

The home-based Super Eagles will depart for Zanzibar, Tanzania, today  to conclude their preparations for the 2024 African Nations Championship, CHAN.

Head coach ERIC CHELLE is expected to unveil his 23-man squad for the competition ahead of the trip to the East African country.

Recall that they had begun preparations for the tournament two weeks ago in Ikenne, having secured victories over Remo Stars, Ojodu City, and Ikorodu City in friendly matches as part of their build-up.

Nigeria will face defending champions Senegal, Sudan, and Congo in Group D.

They will play their first two matches against Senegal and Sudan at the Amman Stadium, Zanzibar, while their final group game against Congo will be played at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, Dar es Salaam.
