Anambra State Governor, CHARLES SOLUDO, has reaffirmed his position against separatist agitation in the Southeast region of Nigeria, emphasizing his belief in the mutual dependence between the Igbo people and the country as a whole.

In an interview yesterday, SOLUDO stated that he does not share the separatist views held by some in Igboland, despite acknowledging the ongoing agitation  in the region.

Governor SOLUDO, who is currently seeking reelection in Anambra State, did not oppose the October 20, 2025 protest advocating for the release of leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), NNAMDI KANU

He firmly stated that although he identifies as a full-blooded Igbo man, he does not support the separatist views in Igboland, and emphasized the importance of engaging in dialogue and finding alternative solutions for the Igbo people.

He acknowledged the significance of having open and honest discussions on the matter, underscoring his commitment to finding cooperative solutions and fostering mutual understanding within the region.
