The Governor of Enugu State, PETER MBAH,joined his counterparts in the country to disclose the scorecard of his stewardship in the past two years, stating that his administration is laying the foundations for the state’s success and future.
MBAH who said this yesterday, while addressing Ndi Enugu at the 2nd year Anniversary Celebration at Michael Okpara Square, Enugu, reiterated that every sector in the state will witness massive revolution in every sector in the state, including the economy, security, internally generated revenue, IGR, human capital development, amongst others.
However, Governor MBAH, beckoned on the people, to join force with him and give his administration the necessary support in actualizing this vision, reassuring that Enugu State remains the safe landing for investors, tourists and livelihood.
Speaking during the event, a former governor of old Anambra State, JIM NWOBODO, and business mogul, ARTHUR EZE, described the governor as God’s gift to Igbo land and Nigeria,adding that he had done well in building and transforming the state.
The Speaker, Enugu State House of Assembly, UCHENNA UGWU and NNOLI NNAJI of the House of Representatives, pledged their continued cooperation with the governor.
Similarly, speaking on behalf of returnees to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the former governorship candidate of the Labour Party, LP, CHIJIOKE EDEOGA, and LP chieftains, pledged to work for the success of the MBAH administration.
Urban radio correspondent, IFEYINWA OGBUE, reports that the anniversary celebration which started with a Holy Mass held at the Government House chapel, Enugu State, the officiating Bishop, the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev Dr. CALLISTUS ONAGA said that MBAH has a mandate to fulfill and has been living up to expectation through his disruptive innovation, adding that as one who understands the real aspect of politics, he had hit the ground running as soon as he assumed office.
