GALATASARAY SIGNS GUNDOGAN FROM MANCHESTER CITY.

Manchester City have announced that Ilkay Gundogan has joined Turkish heavyweights, Galatasaray on a free transfer.

City confirmed the transfer yesterday on their website, revealing that Gundogan, who had a year left on his contract with City, has agreed a deal until the end of the 2026-2027 season with the Turkish champions.

Gundogan moved to Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund in July 2016, and during his time at the club, he secured 14 trophies, scored 65 goals in 358 appearance for City

In his final season, as captain, he led Manchester City to a historic Treble, winning the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League.
