SENATE EXPRESSES DISSATISFACTION WITH DISCOS AND TCN

The Senate has expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of Nigeria’s electricity Distribution Companies (Discos) and the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), since the privatization of the power sector. Nigerian singer, AYODEJI BALOGUN, popularly known as WIZKID, has become the first African artiste to perform at the British Fashion Awards. BUNDESLIGA CLUBS JOIN RACE FOR LYON’S GIFT ORBAN

Bundesliga clubs,  Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and VFB Stuttgart have joined the race to sign GIFT ORBAN. ORBAN is expected to leave Ligue 1 outfit, Olympic Lyon, in January after failing to secure a regular playing berth at the club. ENYIMBA LOSE 2-0 AGAINST EGYPT’S AL MASRY IN CAF CONFEDERATION CUP ENCOUNTER.

ENYIMBA yesterday lost 2-0 against Egypt’s AL MASRY in their CAF Confederation Cup Group D encounter in ISMAILA.. MAHMOUD HAMADA opened the scoring for the home team after five minutes, sealing the points for AL MASRY, 14 minutes from time but ENYIMBA failed to threaten the hosts’ defence for the better part of the game. Goalkeeper ANI OZOEMENA pulled off several top saves to keep the score line more respectable. ENYIMBA will host defending champions Zamalek in their next game in the competition on Sunday, December 8.
