PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS NEW DIRECTOR GENERAL FOR NIMASA.

President BOLA TINUBU has approved the appointment of DAYO MOBEREOLA to serve as the Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety AgencyNIMASA for a renewable term of four yearsfollowing the exit of BASHIR JAMOH, whose tenure recently expired.  MOBEREOLA’s selection was disclosed yesterday by the Special Adviser to the President of Media & Publicity AJURI NGELALE.  He holds a Ph.D., and an M.Sc in Transport Economics from the University of Wales, United Kingdom and he is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Transport, in England, and a fellow of the same institute in Nigeria.

CILLIAN MURPHY WINS BEST ACTOR AT THE OSCARS

PRESIDENT TINUBU TO LAUNCH STUDENT LOAN SCHEME ON THURSDAY.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity Ajuri Ngelale has disclosed that President Bola Tinubu will on Thursday launch the Student Loan Scheme. Ngelale in a television interview yesterdaysaid his principal will launch the historic National Student Loan Programme as a major form of obligation reduction for Nigerians and families and young people at a time when Nigerians are feeling the pinch.  On June 12, 2023, Tinubu signed the Access to Higher Education Act, 2023, into law aimed at enabling students to access interest-free loans for educational purposes.
