United States president DONALD TRUMP has publicly acknowledged Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator OLUREMI TINUBU, describing her as a very respected woman.
The First Lady met with United States President yesterday during the 74th Annual National Prayer Breakfast held on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.
Speaking during the event, TRUMP invited the Nigerian First Lady to stand as he recognised her presence, describing her as a respected figure and noted her role as a Christian pastor in one of the largest churches in Nigeria.
This is also coming a day after the US congress in a hearing recommended stiffer actions, including sanctions and economic penalties, against countries deemed to be violating Christian freedom.
