WORLD TENNIS LEGEND TARGETS CHANGING CAREER TO GOLF.

World Tennis icon, Andy Murray is aiming to qualify for the 2026 Open Championship as his interest in golf continues to grow.

Murray who is moving closer to his target of becoming a scratch golfer is also scheduled to take part in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship next month.

Speaking in a recent interview, Murray, said qualifying for The Open remains a key goal for him, noting that the tournament’s 12.5 million pound prize fund provides extra motivation.

Murray, a British former professional tennis player, had won three Grand Slams, two Olympic gold medals in singles, became the first British man to win Wimbledon since 1936 and holds the record for the only man in history to win two Olympic singles gold medals.
