Popular Nigerian streamer Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, was allegedly kidnapped on August 27, 2025, after reports surfaced that armed men intercepted his vehicle.

The incident caused widespread concern among his followers and within the online community. Hours later, his close associate Sandra Benede confirmed that Peller had been found and was now in police custody. She, however, did not disclose whether he was rescued by authorities or released by his abductors.

The development has sparked mixed reactions, with some fans expressing relief at his safety while others questioned the circumstances of the alleged abduction.

As of the time of this report, law enforcement agencies have not issued an official statement on the matter, and Peller himself is yet to publicly address the incident.
