The National Secretary of the Peoples’Democratic Party (PDP), SAMUEL ANYANWU, has dismissed reports suggesting that he is planning to leave the party, describing the claims as false, baseless and unwarranted.

ANYANWU, who made the clarification while addressing party members during the PDP New Year Special Stakeholders’ Meeting held at the party’s secretariat in Owerri, Imo State, assured members of his unwavering loyalty to the PDP, stressing that he would remain in the party regardless of circumstances.

The PDP chieftain cautioned party members against being deceived, confused or misled by rumours, insisting that there was no truth in the speculation surrounding his alleged defection.

He  also expressed satisfaction with the commitment and resilience of PDP members in Imo State, noting that despite minor internal disagreements that nearly threatened the party’s unity a few months ago, members remained dedicated and steadfast.
