OSIMHEN SCORES HAT-TRICK AS GALATASARAY DEFEAT AJAX 3–0

Nigerian forward VICTOR OSIMHENcontinued his remarkable scoring form, netting all three goals in Galatasaray’s 3–0 victory over Ajax in Amsterdam last night, in their UEFA Champions League Matchday 4 fixture.

OSIMHEN broke the deadlock in the 59th minute with a powerful header, doubled the lead from the penalty spot in the 66th minute, and completed his hat-trick 12 minutes later with another well-taken penalty.

The 26-year-old’s treble takes his tally to 12 goals in his last eight European appearances for Galatasaray, underlining his status as one of the most in-form strikers in Europe this season.

The result marks Galatasaray’s third win in four Champions League games, moving them to nine points and ninth place in the 36-team table, while Ajax remain rooted to the bottom without a point.
