Nigerian rapper, Falz has given social media personality, Verydarkman a 24-hour ultimatum to retract claims that he assisted Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky in avoiding money laundering charges.

VeryDarkMan had on September 24, 2024, released a viral audio recording, alleging that Bobrisky bribed unnamed EFCC officials with 15 million Naira which was meant to facilitate EFCC officials to drop the money laundering charge against Bobrisky and equally claimed that he never spent a day in prison but served his jail term in a lodge arranged by his godfather after he was convicted and sentenced to a six-month imprisonment for naira mutilation.

Verydarkman further stated that he would be disappointed if truly Falz and his father, Femi Falana were involved in assisting and getting the charges dropped and keeping Bobrisky out of prison.

Reacting to the statement, FALZ, in a legal document posted on his Instagram account yesterday, vehemently condemned the entire publication, which he described as malicious and a reckless attempt to damage their client’s reputation and tarnish his standing with the public and further ordered VeryDarkMan to immediately retract the offensive content and tender a public apology across all platforms where the alleged content was shared, emphasizing that there was no justification for the publication.

FALZ also advised Verydarkman that if a formal retraction and apology were not received within 24 hours, he will pursue legal actions.
