DATTI-AHMED CLAIMS 2015 PUSH TO UNSEAT JONATHAN FUELED NIGERIA’S CURRENT INSECURITY.

Labour Party’s 2023 vice-presidential candidate, Datti Baba-Ahmed has stated that the drive to remove former President Goodluck Jonathan from office in 2015 is what triggered the insecurity currently ravaging Nigeria. 

Baba-Ahmed, who stated this yesterday, recalled that he contested against the late former president Muhammadu Buhari in 2011, but after Buhari made a comment that he considered a security threat, he decided not to associate with him. 

He claimed that Buhari had warned that people would be soaked in blood, and Kaduna, his home state, experienced intense violence with many houses set ablaze. 

Baba-Ahmed further alleged that people were brought in from neighbouring countries in preparation to remove Jonathan at the time.
