Nigerian Afro-pop star Adekunle Gold is set to headline an orchestra-led concert in London this November, marking a major milestone in his global career. The performance places him among an elite circle of African artists to achieve such a feat.

He follows in the footsteps of Beninese legend Angélique Kidjo, who became the first African to headline an orchestra-backed show at the prestigious EFG London Jazz Festival in 2014. Adekunle Gold will now make history as the first Nigerian to do so.
