SAUDI ARABIA LEADER COMMENDS PRESIDENT TINUBU OVER ECONOMIC REFORMS

The crown prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, has commended President Bola Tinubu over his economic reforms.

This was made known yesterday through the Special Adviser to president Tinubu on Media and strategy, Bayo Onanuga, at the sidelines of the just concluded Joint Arab-Islamic Summit in Riyadh,  Saudi Arabia.

He said the Saudi Arabian leader lauded President Tinubu’s economic reforms, highlighting similarities to his own efforts to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s stability and development when he became Prime Minister, while assuring Nigeria of his support and commitment towards encouraging his team to implement the areas of partnership discussed at the meeting.

Onanuga equally said Nigeria is seeking an agreement with the Saudi government to establish a 5 billion dollar bilateral trade facility between the two nations.

Meanwhile, President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria, after attending the extraordinary joint Arab-Islamic summit in Saudi Arabia, a summit which focused on finding a lasting solution to the current situation in the Middle East.
