IHEANACHO SCORES IN MANCHESTER CITY’S EMPHATIC WIN.

KELECHI IHEANACHO

Super Eagles Striker KELECHI IHEANACHO came off the substitute’s bench to score his seventh goal of the season in 21 appearances for Manchester City after seven weeks on the sidelines as they qualified for the quarter-finals of the English FA Cup with a 5-1 bashing of HUDDERSFIELD Town 5-1 in a replay fixture at the ETIHAD stadium last night.

A brace from SERGIO AGUERO and goals from LEROYSANE, PABLO ZABALETA and IHEANACHO wrapped up a comfortable win for Manchester City after HARRY BUNN had scored the opener.

The Super Eagles forward, who has been called up alongside ALEX IWOBI and WILFRED NDIDI for this month’s international friendlies against Burkina Faso and Senegal, replaced SERGIO AGUERO in the 79th minute of the encounter. City set up a clash against Middlesbrough at the Riverside in the quarter-finals of the competition on Saturday 11th March, 2017.
