EEDC REVEALS PLANS FOR HEALTHIER CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP

Enugu Electricity Consumers Forum yesterday at a round table meeting with Enugu Electricity Distribution Company EEDC revealed their dream of a business relationship that is healthy to consumers and unbiased.

While condemning the outrageous billing they receive monthly,  customers  appealed  to EEDC to distribute its prepaid meters to all   resident to avoid unnecessary suffering which consumers have been  facing for three years since EEDC took over power supply in the southeast.

Speaking at the forum the Chairman of Enugu Electricity Consumers Forum OKECHUKWU OBIOHA pointed out lack of transparency in the marketing unit of EEDC as the reason why the company’s effort is been sabotaged. Meanwhile the EEDC junior staffs who participated at the forum declined comment when interviewed.
