TONTO, in hot tears, shared photos of herself after her husband had beat her to stupor, while stating that the domestic violence is real.

NOLLYWOOD actor PRINCE UCHE yesterday died in a hospital in FESTAC, Lagos after battling diabetes, blindness, high blood pressure and a kidney disease for several months.
He had been unconscious for the past 5 days and was on his way for dialysis in an ambulance when he died at 2:15pm yesterday.
The 55 years old was scheduled to travel to India this Saturday for further treatment. He is survived by a wife and three children.

The Minister of Budget and National Planning UDO UDOMA yesterday, released the Federal Government’s Economic Recovery and Growth Plan ERGP with a view to restore macro-economic stability and driving various sectors towards achieving the nation’s full economic potentials.
The core vision of the plan is to sustain inclusive growth through structural economic transformation, with emphasis on improving both public and private sectors’ efficiency in order to increase national productivity and achieve sustainable diversification of production.
UDOMA revealed that plan visualizes that by 2020, Nigeria would have made significant progress towards achieving structural economic change with a more diversified and inclusive economy.
The Director General of National Broadcasting Commission NBC, IS’HAQ KAWU at the broadcast stakeholders’ meeting held in Abuja, has issued a three-week ultimatum to all broadcasting stations in the country to pay all their outstanding license fees or face sanctions.
KAWU who issued the warning said it was regrettable that many broadcast stations operating in Nigeria have refused to pay their license fees amounting to five billion naira, while threatening to invoke all relevant laws against erring stations to recover the debt.
He said the statutory act of informing the NBC, six months before the expiration of license and signifying intention to continue as a licencee has also been ignored.
The Imo State Commissioner of Police TIWO LEKANU yesterday demanded for a comprehensive list of orphanage home operators in the State after revealing that it has not been easy tracking some of the child traffickers in the state particularly those who use orphanages as shield as the rate of child trafficking continues to ascend in the state.
LEKANU stated after a meeting with the members of Association of Orphanages and Homes Operators in Nigeria (ASOHON), held at the capital, OWERRI.
He asked the group to provide, without further delay, a complete list of their members for easy identification and that the association should report anybody who failed to register to the police for immediate action. The commissioner warned those who operate orphanages without being properly registered that they would be tagged illegal, shut down and prosecuted.
